Pronounced MAH-bay, it is a cultured pearl that is grown attached to the shell of a mollusk, removed, filled with resin for stability, and covered in mother of pearl. This mabe is set in sterling silver with cable detailing and 14K yellow gold trim, and hangs from a sterling bail that opens to fit up to 8 millimeters. In very good condition, it is gently worn. This vintage piece is classic Yurman and another example of his ability to combine metals with gems and semiprecious stones to create magic!
